Graham Alexander and Cadbury Schweppes have had a successful partnership centred around team intervention and coaching for more than ten years. Graham has had a significant impact whether working with our Executive Committee, Business Unit teams, One-to-One Executive Coaching or through the introduction of his Supercoach methodology across our global business.

When I was elevated from within my peer group to run Land Securities Trillium in 2002 I faced big challenges relating to:
1. Integrating Trillium more fully into the Land Securities Group which had acquired us 12 months earlier.
2. Clarifying and building relationships with my senior colleagues at Group level and with my colleagues that had now become my direct reports.
3. A target to more than treble Trillium profits within 3 years.
At this point Graham became my mentor and coach. He helped me to get clarity and focus in defining these challenges and in setting out an achievable action plan.
Graham however was particularly enlightening in the way in which he linked my business challenges to personal goals and aspirations, and ensured that I always had regard to my individual and professional needs.
Quite simply Graham brought a clarity of purpose and confidence in my ability to achieve my goals and did so in a stimulating and enjoyable manner.

Graham brings exceptional insight, experience and challenge to a coaching relationship. He guides you first to appreciate and then to release the power of individual and team potential in a unique and engaging way. Our relationship has had a positive and direct impact on performance.

The Growing Our People programme has definitely made a significant difference to business performance in Cadbury Schweppes – more than any other programme we’ve run. This is predominately because the programme is about the managers as people; it forces them to look into themselves and their relationship with their colleagues and builds life skills.

The help of Graham Alexander and his colleagues has been instrumental in establishing mutual trust and respect, loyalty to the company, good working relationships and, above all, enjoyment of work. Graham and his team have helped us with building teams, increasing personal effectiveness and getting more out of meetings. All this has been very successful, and is seen as such by everyone at the company.
