Philip Goldman

Philip has been a leadership coach for over fifteen years enabling individuals, teams and organisations to maximise potential by overcoming their barriers to increased performance. He helps senior teams to define and commit to a vision, values and strategy from which they establish a consistent set of disciplines and behaviours. Where appropriate, he facilitates supportive and challenging feedback as well as personal disclosure in order to increase openness, trust and strengthen relationships. This leads to more effective dialogue across organisations and increased confidence to confront and resolve difficult issues. His work is based on the following principles:

Professional Background

Prior to becoming a leadership coach, Philip was MD of a retail sports chain. He joined the Alexander Corporation and became a director in 1995. He then ran Sibson UK’s leadership practice before setting up Goldman Leadership in 2003. Philip has studied philosophy, behavioural psychology, and ‘The Inner Game’ technology. He is an accredited practitioner of the Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI).

Personal Interests

Throughout his career Philip has practiced meditation and regularly attends workshops to maintain his personal growth. He is a keen tennis and poker player, loves art and lives with his wife Rachel and son Joseph in Hertfordshire.
